New Member/Owner. Quick Fitment Advice
Hey! Im coming from a stanced lexus is300. Im picking up a 2006 325xi next week. (i know its nothing special but getting a good deal)
Already picked up rims for it lol Style 95s. for those who don't know they are 19x9 et24 19x10 et24 Its an xdrive so i know i need to go with OD within 1% for the awd system. My options are 225/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear OR 235/35/19 front 275/30/19 rear. my question is I'm leaning towards the 235 275 set-up cause i want to enjoy the bmw ride quality and not have much stretch. My last car was low with stretch and wasn't too fun to drive at times aha i had 225 on my 9" wheel and it was a minor stretch so i don't mind but still trying to avoid. 275 rear will it fit with 24 offset. I don't mind rolling the fenders a bit. STOCK suspension till I get coils next season. thanks! =] I'm new to the german fitment so excuse me as i learn |

the rears are risky with 265s. I had them on my style 95 but even with camber and roll i still rubbed (I was dumped on kw v3). Here is some pics with the 225/35 and 255/30 toyos i ended up using. Again, fenders were rolled

IMO 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 is your best bet. It is under 1% difference from front to rear. You'll most likely need to roll your rear fenders especially if you're lowered. It's been done many times before.

Had BC on my old and loved them but they rust. Thanks again. I love 275 but maybe 265 is a better route. I don't mind rolling the rear, I would most likely do it regardless. |

I will roll rears regardless. Stupid question, this is my first awe car. I can throw spacers on and stagger the offsets as long as the tire diameter is okay correct? aha feel so new |

looks like 235/35 265/30 or 275/30... still haven't decided lol I know the 275 is very close in diameter but i see everyone running 265 but mostly cause they don't want to roll the rear and i don't mind it. Also my offsets are loower than lots. 24...
what set-up should I do, just tell me aha stock suspension but will lower next season and don't mind a bit of camber if needed. |

been doing more research as I plan to order within the next couple days. Whats this I read about Revs Per Mile? People say keep it between 2-3 and most 235/35/19 265/30/19 set-ups seem to be more than that like around 8. Whats the limit? Just want to be safe!
235 275 seems to be the most similar specs wise but nervous about the rear fitment with only a 24 offset! could do 225 upfront but that doesn't protect the rim too much! thanks in advance why is awe so confusing! |

i wouldnt worry so much. Like I said I had 225/35 and 255/30 only because i was dumped in the rear. I probably could've gotten away with a 265/30 if i rolled a bit more aggressively. Personally the 225 and 255 isn't that much of a stretch at all.
