2007 e90 335xi with Style 189 Wheels

Hey all. I've done some searching on this subject but I've found some different answers. I have a 2007 335xi. I've recently purchase a set of style 189's that are staggard, I believe they are 18x8.5 and 18x9.5?

What is the correct tire sizes I should be running in order to avoid awd issues? I am able to use my lug nuts from my stock style 159 wheels on these 189's?

Appreciate the help and guidance. Thank you!

Pretty basic questions... You can find all these answers on the forum.

Yes you can use the same nuts. You can run 225/35 255/30, 235/35 265/30, 235/35 275/30.

I'm running 235/35 275/30

Thank you!

Wheels I bought currently have 225/40 and 255/40. I'm guessing I should get all 4 new tires.

Actually b-man just gave you all tire setups for 19s. You should keep your fronts and run a 255/35 on the rears

These were original equipment option on XI's so no problems fitting. BTW they are 18 x 8 and 18 x 8.5 F/R, and as previously stated tires are 225/40 and 255/35.

Can I run different tire brands front and back or may that cause issue?

not a good idea..especially if the dealer services and notices. They will without question blame any and all transfer case issues on the mismatched tires.

doesnt matter what tire size you run on the car. its all on how much stretch you want or dont want. all a preference on driver and taste.. however there are limitations on this.

Wow, not true. With xdrive, front and rear tire circumference difference needs to be 1% or less.

Also if you get tires that are too tall, you may have rubbing issues.

This is not advisable. The different tires may have different traction, which may cause issues with under/over steer...

The same reason why you should always get four winter tires instead of just two.
