Hey everyone...I'm new to e90Post-- just a quick intro and hello to all!

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to say hello as a "NEWB" to the forums.

Let me just tell you guys that I have been an Audi AND BMW fan. Many german car enthusiasts seem to pick and choose sides, but I feel the more and more I learn about the BMW brand, the more I respect german car engineering as a whole. I own a 2001 Audi S4, but I'm looking to possibly get a 335i or 135i soon.

I personally like functionality over "looks" when it comes to cars...so I'm not into the 20" bling. I do like tracking cars quite a bit, and I'm always striving to improve my driving skills both on and off the track.

I just started working as a Client Advisor at Shelly BMW in Buena Park. I'm a car enthusiast at heart, and being able to work with these cars is absolutely a blast! I'll tell you that the funnest part of my job is test-driving the car. 90% of the people who come into the showroom looking for a test-drive have no idea of the performance potential of these cars.

If any one of you have any "insider" questions you need answered, I'll try to answer them for you. I'm getting more info about the 128i/135i for 2008, and the car looks really exciting on paper. Can't wait until it gets here in March!

Do the service people actively look for piggyback / ECU flash systems? If so, what are they instructed to look for?

Actually, I just met Yi-wen when I started, so I'm just starting to get to know him. Really cool guy, and knows his Bimmers inside and out.

welcome aboard, i came from a 2001 audi s4 as well, and i have never regretted getting the 335i.... however if your lookin for parts send my a pm cause ive got quite a few laying around my garage that i need to get rid of...other wise welcome aboard
