I feel ya, Cooking is a PITA when you have other things going on, but that really makes me appreciate what many many moms/wifes/sisters (including my mom!) do everyday.

I agree! Michael's a GREAT cook! He made dinner for us our last night at the San Francisco meet. Good times and great meal!

I genuinely enjoy cooking but I hate cooking for myself!! I always end up making too much food and it gets thrown away! I'll generally cook when I have my kids but that really depends on what they want to eat. It's not like I'll bust out some monkfish dish with artichokes and asparagus over a white wine cream sauce because to them that's rabbit food!

My ex'es used to cook all the time and man that was the bomb! Coming home from a long day at the office with a meal all prepared... priceless!

I must admit though, even if your partner isn't a cook, there's something quite sexy about the couple meandering around the kitchen making food. I taste everthing and things seem better when you're sharing flavors with your significant other... It's one of life’s simple pleasures.

My girlfriend and I cook almost daily. Our only days off from cooking are Friday nights and all of Saturday. It's our effort to save money. Most of the time we try to cook together. She usually cooks the simpler stuff (i.e. vegetables, rice, etc.). I'm always cooking the main dishes. Cooking runs in the family with two uncles that own restaurants and my mom forcing me to help out in the kitchen while growing up. I usually try stuff off of food network or from cook books depending on the ingredients I have in the kitchen, and sometimes I can hit the recipie dead on the first time, and a couple times I've had complete misses. For father and mothers day, I cooked my parents dinner at my apartment (Rachel Ray recipie one time). Hahaha....

The thing is, if I cook most of the stuff, the girlfriend does the dishes. If she cooks everything, like when I work and come home late, I do the dishes. It's a good balance.

Tonight I cooked Thai noodles - Pad See Ew... mmm...
