M3 for college?

So I have the option of either having a Jeep 4dr Rubicon or M3 for college. I love M3's to death but Jeeps are fun for off-roading and that's it. People keep telling me that's Jeeps are great for college because I can go to the beach and stuff but I just love M3's so much. I could also go the Mercedes G-Wagon route for luxury-ish options and off-roading capabilities but I heard that the gas mileage is terrible. any suggestions? (probably gonna get m3 biased opinions)

Where are you going to school? Really just depends on what you want it for and what you want to do with it.

You can always check out M3Post, people there will be more knowledgeable when it comes to this.

But I will say having a small car is very inconvenient for college if you plan on driving friends around and such.

my friend got wrangler but i don't really like it unless its winter because our weather is so hot in here and you can't take the roof down unless its November or December.

You don't want to look like a poor schmuck with an M3. I'd say at least an Aventador, or a Bugatti if you want to really fit in. It's college, after all. No one is broke. Make sure your parents are paying for it, too. And for the gas, which alleviates the need to worry about gas mileage. You will see most of the guys on this board really advocate having parents pay for everything here... It's just the way to go.

The G63 is a good vehicle (why even bother with the non-AMG version, right), but I would get the 6 wheel one for the best off-roading beach experience. Of course, you'd still need an Aventador for when you're not off-roading.

Troll has been fed.

Too many haters on the college scene. You're bound to have someone mess with an M3. I had a non descript Camry in college. I say go for the Jeep.

Depends on where the college is. Since your parent are buying, you might as well get both

I like the Jeep over the G unless we're talking 6x6. So yeah I read it but didn't include it as, for me, it's 3rd of the options

Definitely the G-wagon. Why? Everyone has a boring M3 and Jeeps are for girls. The G can be taken to the beach, and it's fast.

Hopefully you're talking about the G63 though. Don't pull up looking like a peasant in a G550. That's for farmers.

pffffft, driving up in an M3 all the bitches would be like "oooohhhh mah gawd, how groooOOOOsss"

get a 93 Jeep Wrangler with a 2" lift and some off-brand 33" tires on your stock wheels.....

make sure the zipper windows never actually work and be sure to have 3 or 4 empty Monsters so you can spit your dip in.....

since your parents are buying everything for you, how about you just build a college in the house that they are going to buy you and/or give you as well....

just sayin....

Not sure why no one is addressing the fact that once he's at the beach, he surely won't LAY on the beach as that's just a bit too pedestrian. I propose the following setup for a college freshman:
