The list goes on for the Pacers....maybe I just don't like your team because they are cocky for no reason. I liked PG before everyone started anointing him a superstar. And I liked Hibbert before he flat out started sucking wind.

And I never liked Stephenson but I respected his hustle.

This move is a good one for James, who will now leave another franchise to be left for dead. I am happy for Cavs fans and am glad James will show a firm commitment to helping them win their first title.

Overall this doesn't really change the competitive landscape in the East, which is great for every team in the East because everyone still kind of has a shot. It's ridiculous how loaded the West is right now!!! With OKC, San Antonio, Golden State, Clippers, Houston (now that they're getting Bosh), NOBODY has a cakewalk.

Also I am only partially kidding about disliking the Pacers. I love that they play as a team and I love Vogel and his energy. I think they got away from some of their core tenants and it led to inconsistency. I look forward to seeing them get back to being the team they were in previous years.
Everyone was fine with the Pacers' cockiness prior to the All-Star break.

But, this world is a "What have you done for me in the past five (5) seconds?" world now.

I am content with the Pacers having played in a few ECF. Most fans' teams have been playing golf while I've been able to watch my team go up against one of the greatest players to have stepped on the court.

So . . . I guess I am just a glass half-full guy?

Cavs would need to dump half of the team to get Kevin Love. Cavs has 3 #1 overall picks and 2 #4 overall picks on roster.

Goodbye Andrew Wiggins and others if Love comes on board. They'll do everything to keep Kyrie.

Rumor that Cavs also looking to get Ray Allen AND Udonis.

I’m not promising a championship. I know how hard that is to deliver. We’re not ready right now. No way. Of course, I want to win next year, but I’m realistic. It will be a long process, much longer than it was in 2010. My patience will get tested. I know that. I’m going into a situation with a young team and a new coach. I will be the old head. But I get a thrill out of bringing a group together and helping them reach a place they didn’t know they could go. I see myself as a mentor now and I’m excited to lead some of these talented young guys. I think I can help Kyrie Irving become one of the best point guards in our league. I think I can help elevate Tristan Thompson and Dion Waiters. And I can’t wait to reunite with Anderson Varejao, one of my favorite teammates.

without Bron - the Heat will be a 6th or 7th seed and more than likely will get bumped outta the first round.....

if Love goes to the Cavs, I will consider the Cavs to be the front runners for the title....

Love goes to Cavs (and I think he will) and they will be formidable. They can get him but they will have to deal Wiggins. No loss because they are packing 3 first round picks next draft. Great irony with those- the Cavs got one of those 3 first round picks in the deal for.......LBJ. Nice !

Interesting how Lebron said he's not promising any championships. I guess he now knows how difficult it is to win several championships. The letter he wrote to me felt a little over the top. However, I want to see him take these young guys to the finals. I'm not a Lebron fan, However I wish him success with The Cavs. If he wins just ONE championship with the Cavs, that one will mean much more than the one he won with Miami. Reason being he does't have a superstar, and a all star, alongside of him. He has a lot of young unproven talent around him. I never rooted for Lebron to win, However, I want to see him now WIN not 1,2,3, but many championships with the Cleveland Cavaliers. WELCOME BACK TO YOUR HOMETOWN, and congratulations to the Cavs fan.

Cavs aren't winning anything next year... Lebron won't make the team. No matter what they do in cleveland next year they won't be setup like the Heat were this year. That team still got an ass whoopin from the Spurs. Pacers aren't gonna suck all of a sudden and I see the Wiz stepping it up.

great player that can play 1-4 and possibly 5 against smaller C, but not a fan of him after he left Cavs to miami.

Gotcha. Well hopefully I will see you around Indy. Our Indianapolis thread in the regional section doesn't get much use unfortunately. Do you come to Cars & Coffee ever? I haven't been since it has been warm out...
