Watched it last night. I liked it but liked the first on a tad more. Here's a summary.

First movie: someone said Sparta and someone got kicked in the hole.
Second movie: declined the enemy's offer. Doesn't matter, had sex.

Saw it last night. I thought that while the cinema effects were similar to the first one, it might have been a tad overdone. The story line was a bit lacking. The same could be said about the acting.

Over all it was a decent movie. If you liked the first one I'm sure you'll like this one. I've waited a long, long time for this movie to come out. Perhaps because of that that I was left a tiny bit disappointed. I expected it to be a little more solid in terms of acting, story line, and just the over all grand scale. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it (in 3D). I suppose seeing Eva Green's breasts helped.

I've been waiting for this since the credits rolled in the first one and probably will love it regardless. I've never gone to watch a movie expecting it to be masterfully done -acting, directing,cinematics,etc- for me it just needs to be funny or have lots of action with people dying/blown up into chunks. Never really gotten into them dramatic, well acted movies, maybe when I get older. Definitely will watch it in 3D and do like me some Eva Green so looking forward to that. Will post back after I see it.

Anyways, time to give my girl her bi-weekly wash.
