Absolutely love it. I would choose this over an F-Type or 911 hands down.

The wait for depreciation to work its magic begins...

The front end would be fun to wash. That surfacing looks so well-calculated.

Exterior looks great, interior looks like they borrowed the H1 Hummer center console and most of Porsche's buttons.

Looks very sharp.
Interior looks like you'd crack your elbow on the center console!
Can't wait to see how it performs.

What a beauty, still have a major boner for the SLS though. This is just a raging semi

Nah, don't like it. Proportions and shape are not good. While I doubt BMW will ever be able to build such a conceptually perfect car as this AMG GT, namely mid-front engine and transaxle transmission - I have no doubt BMW can pull out a better looking car in terms of design, even though I really don't like the last X5 and 3/4 Series.

If they will never build such a thing (which is looking more and more unlikely), does it even matter what it would look like?

I have to respectfully disagree with your assessment of the looks, but I have a thing for the low, rearward-slung, understated design.

I hope this car forces Porsche to bring back a modern version of the 928.

Drama-free doors are lighter yes, but drama-free.

Nice car, but just too much competition in this pricing category to warrant selection.

We usually agree on a lot, but not this time. AWD is a no no.
