Torqueaddict, that would be awesome! I talked to a friend of mine this past weekend who used to do smog and he said if one system doesn't show ready that it should still pass, if its more than one it will fail, he looking into it to be sure tho

I'm in SoCal and I'm on the same boat. Worried about CBU, but too afraid to tackle all the mods on my own. Has anyone found a shop in SoCal that would be willing to do this? Or anyone here that has done this that can help for a fee?

This is true with emissions in Canada. One sensor not ready out of eight is a pass, and you should not have any check engine light.

Hi,
I have had the car for 2+ years with 11k miles when purchased and sadly they have not been trouble free. Happily, the manufacture's warranty has paid for a slew of items, which include a new intake manifold and ECU to a new block and set of new turbos (issues started occurring the summer 2013 and 45k miles). Currently it has 65k miles and I do have extended warranty until 2017/100k miles but I would like the vehicle to last much longer as it is a diesel. I currently live in south Florida where emissions have no regulations. What can I do to make it last or is not worth keeping? I previously had a VW Jetta TDi and that last 300k without much issue. Can a 335d even dream of this? Thanks |
