heh, I only got like 2 people coming up to me saying they like my E90 335. I find myself looking at the coupes everytime I see it. It looks very good. I still think the sedan is plenty sexy.

My AW coupe looks pretty much the same.... black grills, CSL silver wheels, black trim. Nobody looks at my car and it's a coupe. But then I don't really care and I'd rather have it not stand out in the crowd, so you don't have the haters doing anything to your car.

this post is pretty sad. OP get over yourself, perhaps you shouldn't be looking for approval from teenagers.
This is pretty much how I felt when I read it. And then the sedan owners fighting with the coupe owners in this thread.....

If the car (E90 or E92) is clean looking to my tastes, then I'll take a 2nd look at it to admire it.

If I really want attention, then I'll just park the Lambo in a busy parking lot and get all sorts of people, enthusiasts & haters, all checking out (and touching ) the car.

Sometimes flying under the radar is a good thing. People are less likely to screw with/vandalize your car.

Should've had your track tires/rims on. They look more aggressive!

This is the second thread where someone complains about their car's relative anonymity. Here I was thinking that the ubiquitousness and class of the 3 series was a selling point. After driving for 3 years in my blue STi, I would rather not have ricer attention. Better by far to have a subtle and tasteful car thats fast as hell and avoid all the idiots who try to race you on the street when they see the big wing or other obvious symbols of performance.

For attention, get an e93 and just drop the top. This is especially useful on rainy days. That way you can share a laugh and make new friends.

IMO I would rather have a car that goes unoticed by a group of kids than has them drool all over it. After all it only takes one asshole out of the bunch to screw with your car.

I don't see it the way you do...not at all. I'd be more worried if a bunch of driving my daddy's Charger teenagers were ogling my E90...I don't want the attention of a bunch of kids that think sex lasts 35 seconds.

Quite honestly, I actually don't give a hoot who looks at my car...I guess that's because I know that 98% of the time I can have them looking at my taillights with the gentle push of my right foot!

e92 ftw!! Its ok driving the not so pretty sibling. Just think of it like this if Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson were in the same room... who would you be checking out... my point exactly. Common admitted it you were a little jealous of the attention that coupe was getting and secretly wanted to trade in your e90.

assholes?! If they keyed your car, yeah.

You have a nice car. You don't need validation by watching to see if people look at your car unless it boost your self esteem .

coupe has always been more appealing to younger kids, they'll learn to appreciate the sedan in a few years as i did.

Anyway..they leave the pizza place and walk by my modified car and look that the stock coupe. Look at the front..inside the window..the works..they are there for at least 7-8 minutes gawking at the car..but never do they even glance at mine. So I saw to myself...maybe they dont know my car is essentially the same car...weighing in at a few pounds more...or maybe they think mine is a base 3 series..I dunno. So I finally see them leave..and go over to one of those new Chargers...with the bling bling 23 inch chrome wheels. Ah..that explains it..they are car enthusiasts...". When I left..they were still standing around their Charger..so when I started up my "not so quiet, Ultimate Racing exhaust" and took off..they finally looked at my car. I am not jealous of the coupe...I am just amazed how people have no clue what is what. They had one sweet Charger though [/sarcasm]
Wow, you really care what other people think of your car and then get upset when people don't look at it. You're sad.

You need to rice it out more, get ACS kit, roof spoiler, slam the shit out of it, trade to gold or black rims, add BOV, a few stickers here and there. Then watch the ricers rush to your car like flies on fresh shit.
