Haggling on a Used Car on Consignment?

I have never bought a car from a consignment dealer handling sales for private parties.

Can one haggle or negotiate on a price? Does the dealer go back to the seller and give them the offer price? Does the seller provide a range?

I have absolutely no clue! Thanks for any advice on buying at a consignment dealer.

in general most things are negotiable in life. Be respectful and offer a decent price, just don't lowball or something
