another wind cancellation. it's been windy as shit the past couple days. winds out of the east are even worse as that's blowing out on the gulf and the drop zone is on the beach. oh well, guess we'll try again next week.

Try living in/around Chicago. I know how much that sucks. I've given up trying to actually "plan" I've tried to go so many times calling ahead saying it's too windy. Once the gf gets in town I'm just gonna call every weekend

That looks awesome.

I think it would also be incredibly fun to bust a nut in there.

When you jump just keep your feet and knees together and remember to properly execute a good PLF! Good thing the Army pays me to jump out of a perfectly good airplane =)

I screamed for 14,000 feet the time I did it. It was girly-scream the first couple of K, then excited out of my mind for the last part. I have a video at home on VHS that I haven't been able/willing to get digital yet.

You WILL feel it in your stomach when you first go out the plane, then no more feeling of falling until you hit the ground (hopefully softly)

If you go I suggest taking the 5-6 hour class before so you do not have to be connected to anyone. It is much more exhilerating that way. You will still have to jump 5 times before you can jump without anyone holding on to you and 8-9 times before you can jump by yourself... but after that it is much cheaper!

I pay $17 a jump when I am doing it often here. Get your certification to jump alone, learn how to fold a chute and you can pay next to nothing to have all the fun!
