Well Me and a friend went out there in his truck last night, the entrance is a little sketchy to say the least.. and the way we got it, a car wont make it.
We need to bolt cut the access gate (not a big deal) and then drive in. Down the road its paved for a bit, then turns to dirt. go down the dirt road some more and you end up looking at this beauty: that my friends is a runway in the middle of nowhere. this is on old shot apparently because its paved from what we could tell, it seems to be a fire control runway or something, but there are no buildings or people for miles. this weekend we are going to try and get my car back there, might use a trailer because im pretty low.. lol will keep you guys updated |

I moved from Laguna Beach a few months ago. Why don't you just use El Toro's runways? There's all sort of land around Pendleton too. I'm pretty sure the Feds don't care what state you're in. Do be careful, this isn't quite as simple or open as I think you're making it out to be.

I really would not want to fuck with an airstrip within close distance from a Navy and Airforce air base.. Not a good idea at all..

And what exactly do you mean about "land around Pendleton"? If you mean on Pendleton, that's just not gonna happen. |
