New iPhone 3GS

Now I'm glad I didn't get the 3G

I've been using an unlocked EDGE iPhone with T-Mobile since October of '07 and will definitely be getting the 3G S since I'm going back to AT&T. T-Mobile's coverage is that bad that I won't mind the higher monthly fee.

ya im coming from tmobile so i qualify for the full upgrade. i just wish tmo had the iphone. i hate the fact that i am leaving tmobile because the service they provide is untouched by no other.

wow its the opposite here in LA Tmobile has much better service compared to ATT

tmobile is only good in major cities. verizon is good everywhere

not really man. i have been to many places here in california and nevada and i cant say that there was ever a time that i wasnt atleast on GPRS.

In Downtown LA, where I work, service is horrible. Hope the iphone 3g S will fix that.

Mine coming on the 19th too. Only got a 16gb white. Figure I'll probably get something next year so don't want to spend the $$ for the 32gb.

32GB is finally in the "barely acceptable" range for memory, so I'll probably get one now. My 80GB iPod has about 60GB of videos (I travel a bit....), so I'll still be a little limited with 32GB. The wife has a 16GB and loves the thing.

My only complaint will be carrying the Blackberry for work and the iPhone for personal use. Maybe I should switch to the Pearl for the work Blackberry to reduce the form factor......

Apple is seriously milking out of us.
I'm still happy with my old ass iphone plus most of features are still offered by getting 3.0 firmware w/o getting faster surfing speed.
I guess i'll upgrade once they lower the monthly bill.

that will be a big mistake. i take it that u have the curve or something with a full keyboard. do not get the pearl.

I have an 8gb first gen. I am planning on getting a 32gb and we will likely get my wife a 16gb since her razor is about to die. I have told her that more memory is better but she doesn't think she will use it...

Like above, now I am glad I didn't the the "old fashion" 3g, it was killing me not to.

Plus from what I read they will have family type plans now too!

But yeh Apple is milking us, as a company and philosophy I really dislike Apple, but the iPhone is a really good product and it now has far fewer warts than when it first came out.

Exactly! How hard would it be for Apple to include an SDHC slot in the iPhone to allow for user-expandable memory? All my other mobile phones will take a Micro-SD card. But that makes it harder to sell a 32GB iPhone when you can buy a 16GB iPhone and drop in a 16GB SDHC card.

I have the original 8GB from the day they were first released. I will be getting a 32GB as soon as I can! I don't know black or white though, I am leaning towards all black.

I'm sorry, but other than the 7.2mbps 3G capability, this phone is a total rip-off. I'll be completely satisfied with the updated OS 3.0.

3GS? I bet Apple will come out with a new phone next year. Call it iPhone 3G Type-R or some shit.

definately the best phone ive ever had in my life and ive owned so many...

ill never own another phone...
