Make up, I dont feel pretty without it. And I always get complimented on the fragrance I wear so I keep wearing it and I put make up on to keep feeling pretty.

I work at VS. I see pretty girls all day/night long... Come on now.

It's a psychological thing. While some girls do look better with makeup, I think that it's only to accentuate their natural look. Some girls look at it as a mask that allows them to act certain ways. As Sarah's mentioned, it makes them feel pretty (and wanted) thus making them confident.
