That is really cool and innovative!
Our bathroom is bigger than that - wow, I can't imagine living like that. Suburbia, ftw. But if you have no choice, it's really quite amazing. Not digging the bed above the tub though.

Wow, that's pretty amazing to see something like that in Hong Kong. I always imagine those condos / apartments exist in one of metropolitan areas in Japan, but not Hong Kong.

How did this guy afford to do all of that?? Not saying I am stereotyping him in any way, however the rest of the building looked pretty run down. Man, that must have been a huge investment. Not to forget the huge collection of CD's he has. I was very impressed. I would personally shake that mans hand. However, for as much as he spent renovating that place, perhaps he could have bought a new place??

from what i understand, his apartment (which was his family's), is his testing ground for this architecture style, he has a company that uses this concept in hotels, from what i read that little apartment costs $1.3mm

To those that suggested that the guy should have had an automated system, please think of how much more work/space it would require. I mean the motors, wires, etc. required to move those walls require space too. So that to me defeats the purpose of maximizing the space.

That's pretty cool! Its still small as hell, but pretty impressive the way he has everything integrated.
On a side note, I will still complain about not having a basement. lol
