Great stuff so far this week guys!

This is an older photo that I re-worked a bit. I just looked at the date and it was almost 4 years ago, March of 2010, which would have been the month after I bought my new toy. I didn't really know what I was doing when I took it. This was shot with my first DSLR, my 40D with the Sigma 150-500. This hawk flew right over my back yard with it's kill.

Going through some old photos and editing. This one is from the Watkins Glen Historic last September.

You already knew enough to have the camera in the RGB color profile. Nice.

Ugh, my head still spins when trying to grasp color profiles between the camera, software, monitor, and printing

Anyways, here is one of mine from the Sonoma Historic races a couple of years ago...Panning Practice on my high school dream car (before they were worth north of six figures)

Great shot Ed. One of my HS and college faves also, along with the 289 Cobra. Great pan.

I find that calibrating my monitor and processing in RGB space solves most color balance problems. I don't do my own printing (use a magician instead, really) but I let the online chips fall where they may. Generally it looks close enough to my original not to embarrass me.

Kestrel kiting over a field looking for grub. 5D3 with the Tamron. 100% Crop. A bit noisy as it was underexposed.

Yeah, could have used a little +EV, but the pose is great and pretty sharp, given the heavy crop. It's funny how you think about 600mm certainly being enough to solve all your reach problems and you still crop 80%. I feel the pain.
