I wish someone delivered tacos. I also wish I got the craving for them before the beer. I would walk if it wasn't raining.

If Guacomole comes out of the Incredible Hulk, I'd let him jizz all over my tacos.

Pink Tacos FTW!!!!!

but I like authentic tacos second lol I got some pretty good marinade recipes for your choice of meat:

1st:
1/3 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 limes, juiced
1/2 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground white pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon paprika

2nd:
1/3 cup fresh lemon or lime juice (freshly squeezed is best)
1 large white onion, thinly sliced
3 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp finely ground oregano
seasoned with salt and pepper to taste.

3rd:
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 jalapeno, minced
1 large handful fresh cilantro leaves, finely chopped
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 limes, juiced
1 orange, juiced
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1/2 cup olive oil
In a mortar and pestle or bowl, mash together the garlic, jalapeno, cilantro, salt, and pepper to make a paste. Add the lime juice, orange juice, vinegar, and oil. Shake it up really well to combine. This can also be used as a condiment.

I place my marinades in a ziplock bag with choice of meat, get as much air out as possible and set 1-8 hrs overnight is best

finally grill meat, grill taco size tortillas, throw on some chopped up onion, cilantro, lemon/lime juice, guac/salsa and enjoy with some ice cold beer

Awesome, but since the only cooking I do is with a microwave I'll print that out for my girl and get her slaving away in the kitchen. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Is 8 hours really necessary?

Tacos Al Pastor FTMFW (preferably off a cart on the street in Mexico).

It's too bad Tijuana is so damn dangerous right now because of the Drug Cartels, or else I would go there more often.

TexMex FTMFL ...I hate that sweet, bland and mushy stuff.

CaliMex is Baja influenced. Lots of grilled meat and fresh vegetable and incredible Salsa mixes.

I gotta take you out to a couple of semi-decent places in Vegas, Blake. That's as close as you can get to what's offered here in El Lay.

But we have more Mexicans! I refuse to believe Texas has better tacos.

I only tried Taco Cabana, I think, when I was in Texas. Liked it though, but it isn't authentic.

There are tons of little authentic places you can only find if you are willing to traverse certain parts of Los Angeles. Parts that you would believe really are in Mexico.
