What do you think of this watch?
Your opinions....
I've always wanted to buy a classy Breitling watch and I want one that isn't too big. This Breitling Colt GMT is 40.5 MM. |

Actually one of the better looking Breitlings in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of Breitling which is why I don't have any in my watch collection, but I wouldn't mind adding this one to my collection.

I think it costs too much, for a watch.
Got to be a better way to piss away 4K. Look at antique/previously owned/soiled watches, find something original. Wouldn't hurt to look. |

Yeah, it's a lot of money. I think I should spend my money more wisely than on an expensive watch that only tells time.

Buy a replica for $200 - no one else would even know. Use the savings for mods

I'm not a fan of that dial or those links. I like the 'traditional' Breitling links. But a watch is a personal choice, so it's moot what others think unless you're just getting a watch for other people to like.

The Breitling steelfish superocean is also a nice, farily simple time piece. The reps are outstanding. The better reps, for $~300, are flawless.

Opinion threads are such bs man, if your so insecure about dropping 4k on a watch you shouldn't be asking.
I wear a Luminox watch and only 1 person has ever pointed out that its a luminox...do I care that it looks like a cheap casio? no, because its more effective and useful than some watch with a million diamonds to showoff wealth. I bought my watch because I like the crystals that glow at night and that its low key...don't ask opinions from others, if you like it; have the money, then get it...if you need a second opinion then maybe you should goto China and get a knockoff... And could someone please explain to me why people buy such expensive watches? i mean for 4k it better have freakin' wi-fi and point out cute girls when I pass, not to mention get me their name and info while I'm starting at time. Do they freeze time or something for you? |

discussing the "why" part about collecting, hobbies, fascinations or any personal preference in general isn't going to be very enlightening..
why do people buy an unusable stamp for tens of thousands of dollars? or how about people buying cars that cost 10x more than another car when they both get you from A to B? that's really weird.. see what i'm getting at here?
