The whole buzz about the the Black Pearl was it was being sold ONLY by invitation to consumers direct from Remy Martin (President's, Kings, Royalty, etc..). If people did not respond to their invitations, the company then sold off some bottles to high end stores around the world. The initial sale price was $8k, but as bottles are being drank, and others put away for storage, it has shot the price of the bottle sky high. Recently a bottle was sold at a Sotherbys auction over sea's for 62,000 Euros. I'm sure there are some good buys still left out there, but the fact is some people just want a small return on their money spent. Having ten's of thousand's of dollar's tied up for a long time just isn't it worth it for some retailer's. Also, for all we know, that might be what is called a "traffic" listing. It drives traffic to the site because it has such a ridiculously low price, we wont really know until someone tries to actually purchase a bottle. Who has $20k to spare to test it out tho?
I can say for a fact, i payed more then double of what he has it listed for.

Your prices aren't that bad. I'm pretty sure it would involve some more paperwork on your part and taxes on my part, but have you looked into shipping to Canada? I'd imagine that UPS would just check to make sure we're 19/18 up here...

Adding OBAN and a bunch of other products tonight.

TN is a hard state to ship too, lots of dry counties in the state and the laws are very strict.

On the bright side you can always send a gift to friends or family in other states.

Its hard for us to compete with any local liquor store and their pricing, but we are doing our best to give the best values for customers. The thing is most liquor store's have the same generic brands over and over. The purpose of the store was really to create a place to find rare vintages and hard to find items.

There's a lot of stuff on the site that most store's do carry, but usually when someone purchase these item's its not for them, its a gift to send to someone else. Say for example your family lives in Texas and you in Cali and you want to send them a bottle, instead of tracking down a local liquor store in there area willing to deliver and the headache's that come with that, you just place the order with us and we do the rest of the work for you.

Also, being in NY we are hoping we get a lot of executive business, people that have no time to go to a store and shop for what they are looking for. Most times what they are looking for is super premium and most stores don't carry it, this gives them a channel to get exactly what they want and delivered right to them.
