no i didnt have to pay sales taxes when i got back to the US i was able to register my pov ang drove it over 500 miles despite having just 5 days left in italy, in that way the vehicle was considered used in the states. i only paid the registration fee and state inspection fee.......... hope this would help you too.. i recently ordered a e92 335i thru the same dealer when i was in iraq last year the ( car is enroute to vpc ) anyway im stationed in colorado, was qualified to purchase because i was TDA (iraq )so i ordered one, i had ti pay $ 2150 for import tax, also might pay 7.4 % colorado sales tax reason i said might is beacause im a legal resident of CA and might get a better deal registering my pov... |

Any of you guys looking to get the M-tech kit for your 3 series and don't want to pay the dealership 3000 euro PM me. I got it for 2000K euro with vat, (19%) less with out.
It only takes ONE day 7-7 and you can spend the day in Frankfurt while you wait. |

Heidelberg here...patiently waiting on my 335i.
I thought stuff would be cheaper over here, but my dealer wants to charge 950 Euro just to put on the OEM front lip! Paint is 500 Euro...crazy. |

Really? I'm picking mine up in the next week or so and paying 430 including installation, but I'm not having it installed so it'll be even less.

Wurzburg here. I can agree with you about the paint issue. I'm going to order the M-kit for the E92, 1200 for the parts, and get this, another 1200 for the "paint". Four pieces, is that not insane?

In Bamberg huh? Is it the BMW OEM lip? I am willing to travel to pick one up and do the install myself if need be. Any chance of passing the dealer info to us so we can save some cash?

Wait, are we talking about a E90 or E92? I was talking about the E92 aero lip. Just go to or call the customer service section at the BMW dealership in Wurzburg and they'll take care of you. If you want a lip, like right now, then PM me. I happen to have an aero lip that I may never install .
