Mazadaspeed 3 or e46 M3?
My friend's brother is looking to get a new car.. As of right now, hes leaning towards the Mazdaspeed 3, but my friend and I want him to get the e46 M3... Now, I already know that the Mazdaspeed 3 is one of the best car in its class ( and for the price too!), but we all know what a beast the e46 M3 is... He'd be getting either a New Mazadspeed 3 or a Used e46 M3, so the price range would be around $30,xxx, nothing over $35k.. So, what do you guys think? He said he wants more of a luxury car, but then he said he wants a MS3.... , the M3 understandable, but the MS3 is not what most people would call 'luxurious'.. Please vote and if you have another car that you would like to recommend, please, do tell Thanks for looking!

for $35k or less I would get a Lexus IS250, 6MT option available and plenty of luxury.

You can find plenty of low mileage M3s in the $25k-$35k range. No 06 models, but earlier.

I'm the second and my vote is better than yours because I drive a BMW. Don't bother arguing either.

those are kinda on two different spectrums. if he wants the ms3 then let him get what he wants. But if the price cap is $35 theres loads of other options out there. dare i say pontiac G8 GT

Seeing as this is a BMW forum, the final decision will be biased.
The MazdaSpeed 3 is quite the little car. Lots of potential. I'd definately opt for the E46 though, without a doubt. The Speed 3's got nothing on the M3! |
