1. from a black screen, does it light up everytime when you plug in a headset?? or does the screen just stay black??

2. do you hear any rattling noise when you shake your phone vertically up and down?

Yes it turns on.

Ah, does the screen turn on everytime u insert the headphone?? Cos mine only does it on some occassions.

thanks alot bro,, cos I thought mine is everytime too,,, but I dropped my phone yesterday so I dunno if that was the cause of it to not light up.

No rattle for me. Yes to headphones causing the screen to turn on.

I have a question though... When looking at the phone from the back (where the camera is) does the on/off button (silver one on the top) stick up higher on the left than on the right? It almost looks like it is caused by the curved edges.

yeap its a bit slanted for me too.

Ok, good. It annoys me a bit because you if you push on the lower side it sometimes doesn't recognize that I've pressed it.

My pearl rattled pretty bad. iPhone is much quieter. But its not often I have to shake my phone...
