I experience a similar situation couple years ago where cop gave me 2 tickets for no reason. I got pulled over for speeding and no turn signal, which are total bs.
I did take turn at less then posted speed (35mph) with signals on, but cop was at the far side of the street after the turn which makes him impossible to clock me nor see my signals since they go off automatically after the turn, plus there's NO WAY in the hell I could take that turn at above the speed limit without crashing the car.
And he clearly told me those were only summon only ticket without any points.

When I went to the court to fight by myself, judge pretty much didn't give a crap about me and those were 4 points tickets total instead of point free tickets.
There were 10+ people who came in with exact tickets as mine, all puzzled why tickets aren't point free ones.
We all ganged up saying that cop gave us BS but we all came out with 4 points and $200+ fines.

I guess a good laywer would helped a lot...
these judge and cop bitches are total POS in many cases.

I'm probably going to just go in and fight the ticket. After thinking about it more, it's really not worth my $5000+ just to prove that these idiots did in fact illegally search me and illegally search my car. I know that it was illegal, and they know it too, but what's the worst that will happen to them in the end? Maybe a slap on the wrist at most?

I hate cops...it seems they treat the normal citizens worse than they do criminals.

before ya call the lawyer, do some due diligence on your own as well. (google and the CVC for example). you want to make sure that you go in w/ as much info as possible, then put together a cogent story/possible defense. if nothing else, it'll show the lawyer that you have done your research, and youe expect the utmost out of him/her

this will put you one step ahead of the cops. why? 99% of cops are the most retarded POS imaginable: they had no hope of getting into a decent college out of HS, so chose the police route. i can't believe places like oakland PD, and the CHP start these shitheads at such high salaries.

You will be hard pressed to find an Attorney who will take this (a good one at least) If you do, set aside several thousand $$$.

2 of the 3 infractions are fix-it tix so just fix, get signed of and bring into court. 3rd infraction does not sound like they got you for speeding, rather traveling at an unsafe speed (typically for road conditions) That could be why there is no speed on your ticket (quite possibly they never tagged you with a speed, just saw you fly by and followed) Look up the code violation number for more info and then you can feel it out how to proceed in fighting it.

This crap happens in LA from time to time. Last year I was stopped by my house at night by 2 motorcycle cops. They claimed I made a left turn at the intersection at a high rate of speed (they could hear me screetching) and that I was speeding after. The cops had a car stopped 300 yards after the intersection doing a sobriety test. One of them stepped into the street to wave me over. I did make a left turn turning towards to where the cops were from the intersection, but I had made my turn from a complete stop (red light) and knew that they were there so I was never traveling fast and no way was there any screeching or reving from my S4. I was pissed. Then they quick tested sobriety in the car, then pulled me out, wanted to do a bunch of tests while running records check, I told them just to breath test me. (I was honest on having a glass and a half of wine 1.5 hrs earlier) They claimed that I was stinking drunk... Breath test showed me at .038 less than half of intox of .08 They then wanted to test me again claiming that I was not blowing hard enough and I blew a .039. Finally they gave up on me and cut me free only to drive off and immediately make a u turn in the middle of the road and pull over another random car. Talk about dicks who were just fishing for drunks.

Wow. Cops are such fuckers. Can't you get the lawyer to bail you out of the b.s. on the ticket? Pay the fix it tickets. And also get these pigs fired. In addition the money that you are paying for the lawyer should be reimbursed to you by either the pigs or their department. I would take nothing less than this.

Also, in a situation like this with dirty pig corrupt cops can't you refuse to do what they say? I mean especially when they are pigs like in this case. Can't you just be like, "I'm not doing what you say, and I'm not signing this bullshit. You know you're a dirty pig and I am leaving." I'd be like you are a dirty bastard, go to hell, I'm outta here.

Might be bad advice the way I put it but my Jewish lawyer gets 1k an hour and has settled many cases for people close to me all with wins. So let me rephrase my original statement "Get a Jewish Lawyer with a good background and recommendations from family/friends"

P.S. I also stated i wouldn't even call a lawyer for this case its goign to get thrown out and waste your own ,oney and time in the process. Take it on the chin like a man. Shit happens
