my and my friend were making cupcakes. yes, thats right, cupcakes. and the question arose from our somewhat pointless conversation: whats the difference between a cupcake and a muffin? i know, its a stupid fucking question. but i want to know if theres a difference? lol

density of the confection? Brownies are almost universally chocolate, while cupcakes can be pretty much any flavor a cake comes in. Oh, and let's not forget the variations of wrapper that can be included in the cupcake.

I think muffins are denser, or at least all the cupcakes I have eaten have been lighter than all the blueberry muffins I've eaten.

Cupcake:
