Today GUMBALL 3000 Rally, passed trough my country, and these are some pictures. My fried and I were ”chase” them on highway with Opel Vectra GTS!!! Small tip, if you don`t have 300Hp car or bigger then just step a side, stop your car, and watch them fly near you, the sound you hear is awesom!!! If you want I can post some movie clips and more pics!

Can I ask a question - What is the Gumball 3000?? I went to the website, have seen tons of pictures of hot cars (covered in decals or magnetic stickers), and am still very confused what it is... Is it an actual race? I've seen the roster, how and why do you enroll in this, does it cost a large amount of money?? So confused.. Also would you guys want this many people standing so close to your murcielago?? Why do people do this in general, what do you gain out of it??? Thanks...

Gumball is a rally run every year, through many countries. It has also been held in the United States(New York to Cali and another one from Cali to miami), don't remember what year(s). But it's usually a 3000 mile rally for people who have the money to do it( I don't think you necessarily have to be filthy rich to do it) I've heard it cost something like $6000 grand. But it's alot of high speed fun & partying. Almost any car is allowed to participate, last year an Ice Cream trucks ran in the Gum Ball.

Hey, thanks. I found the history page on the website and that gave me a much better idea of how this all started as well. The one thing that seemed most obvious is that you had to have some serious money to enter. When you say $6000 grand, do you mean 6 thousand, or 6 million?? Also where can I sign up??

Seems like it is well known when and where this is going to take place, especially with the police, police escorts.. I'm curious if a bunch of this money goes to the police depts as bribes to not ticket them too much..

The fee was £40,000 or $73,720.99 this year. If your car is unique enough, they sometimes waive the fee.
