AM/FM Tuner Not Working?

Hey Guys,

Weirdest thing happened today …
I just came back from an overnight business trip and left my 335 at the airport. When I started the car, no sound came from the radio. I thought this was odd and thought perhaps it was due to sitting in the cold (-10+ Celsius in Toronto) for almost 2 days. As I drove away, still no sound as I was flipping through the various AM/FM presets. I then tried Satellite and nothing. About 5 mins later, I tried Satellite again and audio came from the various stations - as it should. I drove home about 30mins so the car was fully warmed up and still nothing from the tuner (AM/FM)
I then tried my iPhone interface (Media) and that work with no issues
Went back to AM/FM and still nothing. I tried shutting the car completely off, restarted and still no AM/FM tuners stations?

Any thoughts on what / why only the AM/FM tuner function isn’t working?

So the next day after I posted this back in 2015, the AM/FM tuner was working and has been ever since. However today the same thing happened. No AM/FM tuner but Satellite and Media would work just fine. Any ideas?

You might want to check the battery and try putting a full charge
on it as the IBS system starts turning off what it considers
to be non critical functions to preserve enough charge to run the car.

read about the ibs in the first pdf that follows

electical e90 pdf

the car sits overnight battery looses charge ibs kicks in and starts
shutting off stuff . These cars are battery hogs they are always using
battery power even when idle. Also cold aggravates the problem.
