Your most embarrassing moment

For me it was 28 years ago. High School Prom night! Being the gentleman that I am, I went to go meet my date at the top of the stairs so that I can walk her down. Well things didn’t go quite as planned. I missed a step and took out a couple teeth. Prom night was cancelled and had to make an emergency dental visit instead. It was truly a night to remember that I’m sure my date at the time is still talking about today.

12 or 13 yrs old, had a gas burner explode in my face (old style hot water heater system, outside US). Wasn’t harmed except for losing my eye lashes, eye brows, and oooh running/screaming naked through the house while my boy and girl cousins laughed their assess off

Oh god, way too many to post about, ha. I don't even like thinking about them. And I'm 22, btw. So they're all fairly recent (within the past 10 years). I just cringe. :|

Even though, to be fair, 99% of them are my stupid ass's fault, lol.

On one of the first dates with my now wife, I ate something at dinner that ran right through me. We were back at her place about to watch a movie on her bed when the grumbling started. Here's the problem: the toilet in her place was right behind her headboard and was separated by a paper-thin wall. I basically had a dumb and dumber style explosion about 8" from her head. She claims to this day that she didn't hear anything but I can't imagine that being true.

Happened to me back in Elementary school (like 4th or 5th grade). We were in PE class, hurdling these long board things. I went up to hurdle one, foot got caught on it, landed on my back. Got the wind knocked out of me, I swear I thought I was dying and I refused to get up (I was laying there crying and shit). They clear out the entire gym (like 70 total people in it), put me on a wheelchair, and push me off to the nurse's office. Quickest visit to the nurse's office in my life. Threw me back in the same class about 20 minutes later, went back to hurdling. Except everyone was giving me strange looks the rest of class.

Not mine (I swear).... But a 2fer

A couple years ago, shortly after having new sod installed on all the lawns (new development). We are sitting on the neighbor's porch during a power outage just before dusk. The neighbor says to me and the wife that the other side of the block must still have power because their sprinklers are still working.

An hour later the power flickers back on several times, but never stays on. My wife comments that the other side of the block must have gotten their power back, because their solar lights are now on. Laughter ensues.

I live in a condo but arent the sprinklers actuated by an electronic relay and therefore wouldnt work without power unless theres a backup?

These were old fashioned sprinklers connected to the spigot on the side of the house. Not an in ground sprinkler system.
