I have been running S1 Aggressive + FMIC for the last 2 weeks including a 500 mile road trip last weekend in the hill country. The car feels like it pulls harder through the rpm range in 3rd and 4th gear.

I have Cobb S1 Agg+ FMIC (Wagner ) and car is beastly sounding with great pull... The only issue I'm having is timing corrections when logging.. Used diff fuels 98 RON ....
Tracked the car with this tune and was awesome... Did have a boost leak somewhere traveling at 200km down straight in 4th (DCT ) Would recommend the Cobb tune for the versatility and ease of use... And of course the fast fun factor |

yeah, pretty serious. I was just wondering if the service engine light would be illuminated since the dp i have in my closet is not catted and the cobb one is. I wasn't sure if they programmed the software to work with catless/race pipes since theirs is catted. if you have an anwer then i'd really appreciate it. thanks.

The Cobb AP, and many of the piggyback tunes, will ensure that the SES light does not come on if you go non-catted. Typically they do this by keeping the O2 sensors in a perpetual Not Ready status (Not Ready, Ready, Failed). If you have to pass an emissions test you very well could fail it because Not Ready and Failed are both assumed to just equal fail. For emissions tests you will either have a light check (easiest to pass) where they simply check the dash to see if the light is on, a ODBII check where they see how many are Not Ready/Failed (In Texas you can only have 3 Not Ready/Failed sensors) so it is possible to pass depending on the other sensors, and then you have the actual emissions testing. This is typically done in California where they actually test the emissions off the tail pipe and there is sadly no way to dupe it that I know of. After having said all of that if you had an N54 car there is a DP Fix which will allow you to pass emissions test via the CAN check. Doesn't help you since you're on the N55 platform, but something to keep your eye out for in case Burger Tuning decides he wants to swing for an N55 version.

Installed Cobb AP3 on my N55 2011 135i with no bolt ons. I run with "stage 1 agressive" map and sometimes "stage 1 agressive FMIC" map when weather is close to frezzing weather. REally happy with results.
Now considering FMIC and DP, but from this thread, it seems as if the more expensive catted DP is not worth it, ie: will not make much power gains, and will eventually throw codes, if Cobb flash is removed when car is brought in for warranty repairs. I might only do FMIC for next spring when lapping season is back over here in Quebec, Canada.
