Were these guys going so fast they didn't see the police officer? The police would have never caught them if they took one of the next 3-4 exits and split.

you don't get arrested in PR for speeding. We just get a $500 ticket for everything over 100mph. That is if ur not drunk or anything like that.

Well the article did mention the two cars stopped so a passenger could switch cars.

Good thing they did stop. They would have been a world of trouble had they ran, as if they weren't in a world of trouble now...at least it was only an arrest for wreckless driving and not evading arrest or something.

Never run from the police...its just stupid, you always get caught.

@ 141, it would be FELONY reckless driving. Much worse than a speeding ticket in most areas other than the fine. Personally, my b-hole would rather pay 500-1000 than 5-10 days in the slammer

BMW's seem to have a reputation among law enforcers of having drivers that are prone to speeding. My last ticket was for doing 121mph in a 65mph zone and when I went to court the judge asked if I had a BMW and when I said yes he said it figures.

They wernt running from him if they couldnt see him, he would have never caught up to them. More than likely he didnt have there tags either. So yes if they wouldnt have stoped they would have gotten away
