I understand completely where you are coming from, and this was a large part of why I also stopped drinking for the most part. However, you should also realize that you shouldn't be afraid of going out and partying every once and a while with friends. One night of drinking every now and then is not going to undo your time that you put in at the gym. Although, it may diminish your rate of protein synthesis from your last Tru-mass shake if you chase it with a shot of jack on a daily basis.

You could also supplement with resveratrol to get the claimed benefits of drikining red wine without consuming alcohol. Although I have always heard since I was a kid that drinking red wine in moderation is good for your health I think that studies have only proved that resveratrol has increased the lifespan of yeast and mice, but this has not yet been proven in human studies as far as I know.

I need a buzz to shoot straight when playing video games. Works on fighting games too. Other than that no need for alchohol to have fun.

I think there should be an age with an answer because most of the members here are under 18. I'm 32 now and I didnt start drinking until I was 21 or 22. I guess I'm a late bloomer. Anyways I've been taking it easy on the booze lately. But I don't think I can have fun without it. If I'm at a club I need it because I cannot dance without it. Same thing with the karaoke, cannot sing without booze. I only drink to loosen up and I've only been shitfaced 4 times in my life.

If I'm somewhere where drinking is happening (bar, bbq) I cannot have fun unless im drinking as well. I'm not a home drinker - I get drunk once a week with friends.

you can not have a good time if you do not drink. and if you can hang out with drunk people and be sober and still have a good time and dance and stuff. there is a very strong possibility of you yourself being very annoying. i personally like to drink beer or rebull&goose and burn up a few cigarettes in the process.

what are you smoking? drunk chicks are the best!! i think this world will be empty if everyone is sober.

I think the trick here is... how to drink and still be sober to enough the drunk girls around you..

back to the original question.
Yes i can enjoy myself without drinking, but it depends with who.
80% of the times i am better off drunk with an IQ of 10
