That sucks man, hopefully it isn't beat to all hell. If anyone wants to know his account name, just go into KwlAznKid's statistics and you can find the for sale thread and corresponding buyer.

From my experience, the seller always get the item back if it was not as described. Standard procedure from Paypal.

Also, using greyhound shipping is terrible. Did you make sure that the bumper is going to survive even if someone threw it? Did you use cardboard boxes/bubble wrap?

to be completely honest, it was my first time shipping greyhound and like i said it was to save the buyer some money, greyhound or fedex overnight it wouldn't have mattered to me, in fact i had to drive almost half an hour to a greyhound station when fedex is down the street from me, when i got there i asked the lady how i should wrap it (i brought bubble wrap and tape) she told me that there was no need, she would pack it and make sure it stays stable so i agreed, final product of her packing? i have no clue, i didn't see it but she ensured me it would be packed nicely. will i ever do this again? no lol

Sorry to hear. Hope everything works out. And you receive your item back in good condition. But he could send you something of similar weight and you're screwed out of your money. Seen it happen more than once. And all Paypal needs is tracking info and that the "item" was received.

Sorry to hear that you are going through this. I shipped over 100 bumpers, 250+ fenders and car seats through Greyhound and NEVER had a problem. ( I don't even put them in a box ). It is very unlikely that the bumper was damaged, especially the mounting part? Very unlikely..
I am more than 100% sure that the bumper was not damaged and he is just trying to scam you. Did you purchase insurance? Ask him for pictures of the damage...PP will most likely decide in his favor.
I deal with these kind of people every day.
If you need any advice regarding this, shoot me a pm.

not true. if OP does receive something different, take it to your police station and call PayPal. PayPal reps will communicate with police officers and file a claim against the buyer.

that's exactly what the greyhound lady told me, she seemed VERY sure it was going to be a safe shipment. regardless i worked out a deal with the seller, i would refund him $100 dollars and it would settle this whole thing, damaged or not? he sent me some pics, i can't really tell to be honest but i just want this to go away, money's been tight for me recently but this is has just been a headache

Not sure where in FL you live. But if I take this "incident" to the LAPD, they wouldn't do jack. Plenty of sellers have been screwed over by buyers/Paypal.

If Paypal works the same as eBay you just need a police report, which you go to the local precinct to get they will absolutely fill it out just documenting that the item is damaged. You then send the report to Paypal and they deal with it. At least that's how eBay works.

Oooh. Greyhound shipping? I don't know man. If someone was shipping me a bumper or flexible car part, I would not want it shipped by Greyhound...

it's actually a lot cheaper especially for larger parts, but just make sure you wrap it up nice and safe I guess
