If its not your daily, you should get something exotic and awesome! So that takes out the M3/M5/Range Rover/F Type
I would get the F430 ferrari or the C7 Z06

2. Wouldn't bother with the base if Zo6 is an option. 3. If you want a convertible, this is your best option. 4. It's a 911, what more can you say? 5. It's an M3, what more can you say? 6. Do you really need a back seat? 7. No. 8. Would be sweet, but is it worth the $$$? You really have to love Ferrari's to put up with the depreciation and repair bills. Your 8 choices are really diverse. Either one, except the Range Rover, would be a top car in each of their categories. You need to give more information: do you want cheap speed, do you want a warranty, do you want a back seat, do you want a convertible, what type of driving do you do, will you track it, etc. |

From the list, it's either Stingray Z06 or 911.
I have a deposit placed for an allocation spot 2016 C63 AMG S. |

I was in the same situation and demodded my 335 and sold it to get something more fun since I have a dd.
I was initially in the market for a pcar (911 or newer cayman S) but after testing driving a stingray I had to have one. It handles damn good, quick, and 300lbs lighter than my 335 which should be nice on the track. Interior is on par with much higher priced cars and the overall fit and finish is very good. Go test drive a z51 stingray and you may wonder why anyone would pay 100k+ for a pcar. edit: saw F430 is in your prospects. A scuderia hands down takes the cake in your search. They've appreciated a bit in the past 3 years but for $150k for 2008... it's quite possibly the most visceral driving experience and is not in the same league as the other cars in your list. Here is some inspiration from one of my cruises last year. http://s42.photobucket.com/user/spii.../Cruise%206-30

I'd ditch anything with more than two seats if this is your second ride. What's your budget?
Do you prefer a raw driving experience, luxury, looks, etc. those choices are a bit all over the place.

That's not meant to really be a daily driver or an around town type of car. It's at home on the track. Evidenced by the fact that it doesn't even come with A/C or a radio (I believe the latter is optional).

Well Im gonna go with a C7 Zo6, for the price you can't beat it. It has better handling, performance than all the cars above, comes with a 100000 mile warranty and costs less than a Porsche 911 S.

I would take the 991 911 with the 7 speed manual transmission black on black.
Perfect weekend carver with enough comfort to take on trips or to the office on nice days. |

The Z/28 comes standard with a "stereo" with one speaker. They had to install a radio due to the law stating they had to have a seatbelt chime, hence the one speaker. GM wanted the radio to be deleted on the "base" car and if you ordered AC, then you would get the stereo. I guess they figured if you're getting AC, you'd want to listen to a stereo since you would probably be street driving the car more often. I had a 2006 Z06 with the LS7 with a Corsa exhaust. TBH: I did not need a stereo at all. Not that the car was too loud inside, it's just the music of the 7.0 liter engine never got old! Ripping to 7,000rpm in that car was so much fun.
