I just thought it was kinda kool that F150 is having twin turbo set up on their V6 on pick up trucks.

Just an FYI, ecoboost is currently being used on the new SHO as well as some other Ford vehicles with no HPFP issues so far. Seems like BMW is really the only company having so many problems.

And yeah, this engine should be awesome in the truck. Makes just as much power as the V8's but gets great mileage. Can't wait to see what tuners will do with them. Hopefully it turns out just like the N54 and we'll soon see 500+ whp.

Don't know why but Porsche never had that problem with the 911 turbo.

Didn't know SHO Taurus uses the same type of engine. Can't wait to see how the reliability is on this F150. I wouldn't mind having me a Supercab...

They have the Raptor now... I don't think they'll bring back a lightning type truck for a while.

The Ecoboost looks interesting but I'm glad I have the last of the 5.4 engines. Even if the new engines are overall great there will still be bugs to work out.

I have to admit the 6.2 engine would be nice...

I'm in for the new Ecoboost F-150 . I think this is going to prove to be an amazing set-up.

Because Porsche just has more experience in FI. Plus, their entire 911 line is designed by what is tantamount to BMW's M division. They are cars with a racing history, just like the ///M cars are. You don't (and hopefully won't) ever see this issue on ///M cars (i.e. the F10 M5).

Anybody disagree?
