Per gallon, not per liter. And the octane is similar, but calculated differently.

For what it is worth, my commute to work is so short I have no idea what gas costs, I buy it so rarely. I use about 11 gallons/month with my Civic, averaging around 26 mi/gal. I expect my driving to increase significantly and my mileage to decrease significantly when I first get the Bimmer, but it still shouldn't be too bad.

Just paid $3.29 for (San Rafael, CA) Union 76 91-octane at lunch time today. It's one of the lowest around in the area.

91 is the highest i have seen in California. I thought that was a state regulated thing based on California's "special" fuel requirements?

$1.18 / Litre

1L = 3.7854118 Gallons, so that's $4.47 a Gallon, Canadian dollars...

$1 CDN = $.906 USD, so that's $4.04 USD a gallon...

Someone check that math?

Correct me if I'm wrong but what do they charge you for the engine size/volume living in Greece?

We pay approx US$7.50 over here in Norway:mad:
We are the third biggest oil producing country, but the taxes on gas are sky high!

(Not to mention the car prices over here. My E91 320d cost the same as a new M5 in the US)
