I'd be surprised if it sucked bad. It has a rating of 79% on RottenTomatoes.

IMO the other three were really good, so sequals usually have big shoes to fill. Going to try to see it this weeekend.

it was awesome.

I think they did a good job keeping Indy who he was.. a bad ass.

Of course the movie takes advantage of modern day effects, but it stayed true to the indie franchise.

I mean.. Spielberg did it guys.. he's not going to fuck it up that bad.

It was satisfying if you liked the other three or if you like the original Star Wars. There are definitely some cheesy scenes and plenty of completely unrealistic scenarios but I'm glad I went.

It wasn't as good as the first one, but it's up there with the other sequels. They focused a bit too much on making sure we knew it was the 1950s, imo (the malt shop, hot rods racing around, red scare references, etc). And there were scenes where it was blatantly obvious they were using a stunt-double for Ford, which I didn't get. I mean, I'm sure they've always used them - why was it so noticeable this time?

And was it just me, or do they not once call Ford's character "Indiana" or "Indy"? Jones stops short of calling himself that twice, everyone else calls him Henry, Jonesy, or Dr. Jones. Not even Marion and half her lines in the first movie started with "Indy!"

I saw it and I liked it. Not as good as the first three though. I also noticed that they never called him "Indiana" or "Indy." That was bad.

If you're old enough to know what Geritol is, you shouldn't be talking

anybody who watches TV or spends time in a grocery store knows what Geritol is. Since you knew what it was to make that comment, I assume you're "old enough" too...

I don't own a tv myself, but I don't think there's been an ad for Geritol on television in DECADES. And I didn't know they still made it until I googled the name today.

I think that's due to be released around the same time as Rocky XVII: The Retirement Home Chronicles.

FWIW, I saw Indiana Jones tonight. I took my 8 year old who is usually noisy as shit at the movies. This kid talks more than the whole theater at the Compton Cinema. And he was pretty much quiet the whole movie, meaning he enjoyed it. So trust me, if it kept his attention, it shouldn't be too hard on you guys. I enjoyed it but I agree it was nowhere near as good as the first three. Seems to me they made it just to put in the token hand-off on the franchise to Shia LeBeouf.
