are short shorts making a comeback from the 80's?

I've seen racks of the short shorts like guys used to wear in the eighties in store. Are the short short look back in for guys now? I feel like the late 90's spawned a new generation of style in to the whole baggy clothing look, especially with basketball shorts. And the tighter shorter clothing is coming back. Even looking at myself I have ditched all of my old basketball shorts the extend below the knee and over sized sweatshirts and tee shirts Anyone else noticing this? I know its a random question but I just thought about and was curious if anyone thinks the same.

Were you shopping in West Hollywood??

Just kidding, I believe you that its coming back and its definitely something I will not get into. If the shorts show my knees, they aren't getting rocked in public.

Come to Australia... hipster galore.

Thankfully I was influenced by Brian Earl Spilner in 2001 and chose to adopt his sense of fashion ever since (plain tshirt and pants).

You, my friend, must not be aware of hipsters.

I have no doubts that the short shorts are coming back, and I blame hipsters. Hipsters tend to style themselves in fashions everyone else thinks is ugly so that they can be different. I worked with a kid like this and every time you try to tell him that he looks stupid, he would take it as a compliment.

They are called shorts for a reason. Shorts should not go below your knees, where you pull your white socks up into your pockets. The whole idea behind shorts is that you cover your nuts, but everything else is out in the breeze and literally cool.

I struggle regularly to find shorts that hit mid-thigh, where they BELONG!!!!!

in Houston, if you're wearing a scarf with a Freddy Krueger style fedora, odds are that you are a homeless asshole that is also borderline retarded.

and i swear, i have never seen a shitbird wear a sport coat with shorts and hippie shoes....

that's gotta be some faggotry outside of the great state of Texas....
