Need to vent about a chick

F'ing Girls.

For the past two months or so, I started getting back in touch with a girl I know from my snowboarding days. She was in Australia for the past months and me in Canada. So we started talking and so on on Facebook, and she came back 1 week ago. We decided we could go snowboarding (today) and we could hang out beforehand last night. So, she DROVE down from her house, which is 2 hours way from me, JUST to see me. (She doesn't have a family here anymore). I was thinking to myself... "She is driving down 2 hours to see me, this is good". I wasn't sure about taking one day off, but she is an easy 10, and I could take a day off from work. (but I knew I was losing 1 day of work).

Anyways, she came over last night, we talked, we had a drink... and then when I started making a move "she is not sure" "she has her ex into her head and she saw him when she came back". F THIS. At that moment, I told her it was "okay, I understand". This morning I woke up, (she went back to her lodge she has here), texted her saying "Last night was not really what I expected and we should stop this here". That way, I will not be wasting a day with some girl that is a tease and I will be able to go work. She is OBVIOUSLY uber mad saying "she wouldn't have drove down 2 hours if she knew I would have been like that". Girl please. We are 22 years old, this is kind of straight forward.

TL;DR: Girl is a tease, I "moved on" like a boss, the girl is mad she drove 2 hours.

I don't have an advice for you but a question. I understand that you are angry because you wanted something more. But you describe her as a nice girl and then, when she doesn't want to do what you want to do you call her a bitch?

You lost nothing, not even your day at work. She came to see you and wanted to have fun (snowboarding that is) with you. No need to be so disrespectful in my opinion.

I get it. Just wanted to point out, that calling her a bitch is not the way to go. Maybe she just needs more time, or you missinterpreted her signals and she wasn't really flirting.

How should it have been handled? I stopped playing games a while ago as it always turns out to be more complicated. I said the truth. But honestly, why do I look like I douche? I told her I wasn't expecting her to come down and bang all time. I told her we were clearly NOT on the same levels, and she should fix what she had with her ex first.

I wasn't asking for sleeping with her, but I thought it was a good time to see if our mutual attraction was "mutual" or not. It wasn't obviously working on both sides. Why making that go on for nothing? It will waste both our time.

You should be pissed... I've had similar situations. It's best to just cut the sling and drop them. You'll be better off, and they'll be wishing they hadn't teased... I mean you only made a move...
