Another quick write up.
I created an Aliexpress account and bought myself the gloss backlit stereo surround. It was about £20 delivered and arrived within 10 days. The fit took 10 minutes, it's 4 x T20 screws and a couple of clips to swop your heater panels over. It makes a really nice difference to the dashboard. The LED lights are quite bright, with lights set to sports mode the back lighting is blue, in normal they are orange like the rest of the car. I'm really happy with it, although the LED's are bright I would gladly have it and just fit it without plugging the lights in as the gloss fascia is so much nicer anyway. The panel comes with a Y adapter built in, so unplug the little under light and plug this in between. A couple of pics for comparison and link below. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3304...bc0d4c4dihBEcH |

Another small mod today, twin tailpipe time.
I bought a twin tailpipe kit from eBay, £99 and it simply bolts on if you cut your old tailpipe off. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EXHAUST-T...E/223779166034 It was a 5 minute fit with an electric reciprocating saw. Really nice bit of kit and happy with the purchase. and this is what the inside of the tailpipe looks like, on an original exhaust with 85k, Diesel cars are so much cleaner than they use to be. |

I've just done a full suspension overhaul on my F31 with Bilstein B4S shocks and Eibach pro-kit springs and could not be happier; would highly recommend them See the link in my sig as below for the suspension overhaul and plenty of pics

Hi, I did sell this car on, and I took the 437's off but I did love the way the car drove with the Eibachs fitted and would want the same springs again. |

It's sad to hear that. Your ex))) inspired me to go with 437m. Firstly I bought BBS LM, but find out that I need something else.

There is not a better wheel for the F31 in my opinion as long as you get the tyres right, I didn't the first time as you see in my pics

Their slight poke is what puts me off unfortunately; not keen on that look Much better if you're really lowered; but OEM height or slightly lower (like my F31); they still poke unfortunately But that's just my personal preference
