Great. An effin 3er xi, but still no 328i wagon with a stick. The volume for both models would have to be close.

And a 2er xi?! Ugh.... that's all that will be in the Northeast, just like every damn 328/335 up here.

Who knows for the US but the product info sheet I saw for Canada says auto only for XDrive 2 series vehicles.

I feel like you will be correct, but that is a dam shame to offer an M performance vehicle in auto only.

Based on what? Everything you've said here is 180° from the insider information and other info we've seen.

Good question but I doubt it. Just add the MPPK to either one you're good to go!

The M135 xDrive is only available with Auto so it's very likely that will be the only option for the M235i xDrive also.

There have been more M-cars than there have M-performance cars. I wouldn't count on it.

Interesting that i8 production starts on 1/15. Does that mean there's a delay? I thought the i8 was going into production this year.

My SA told me last week that the production for my F80 will be the last week of May and to expect to to be here by early July. Just curious where he got that information cause it doesn't match with what this sheet says???

The M-Sport Package I believe it's called No need for a new model when you can just equip a couple options.

M-Performance models typically push the tuning a bit further than M-Sport options. Plus, you can't undervalue the presence of 19 "M" badges when it comes to performance

Probably a typo. Not expecting an M235i wagon, although I would very much like one

My SA is the best. Every time I bring him BMW news, his response is the same, "Well, you know more than me, Brad." And he says it with a smile. In other words, he's honest. The truth is that a sales advisor is most concerned with the cars he can sell today. They have to be, because that's how a salesman lives and dies. If you want the best information on rumors, the internet is where it's at.

So let me just get this straight, if I want a MY15 F32 for example, could I order one now and say it only has to be produced and delivered in July and really get a MY 15, or should I just go safe and order one in July, so that when it goes to production it will be a MY 15 no matter what

Anyone know if there's any major difference in build quality between 3-series built in South Africa vs. Germany?

Jason, thanks for the valuable info. How soon do you think one will be able to order/get production slot number for 2015 228i or M235i? When do you think the options/other changes for either will be available? THANKS!
