Whats up with everyone spinning out? Mostly between 2:00 and 3:00. The wipers aren't on in the Z4 so I can't imagine it was raining...

Maybe everyone was too busy looking at the sickness coming up behind them that they missed their turns?

Sick. Notice how quiet the cabin is! The car is very composed, of course the driver is making it look easy.

Great vid

Guys I have a question.. if SMG/DCT/PDK is apparently so prevalent on the track then why are a lot of the BMW race cars in a traditional manual setup. I know its not exactly the same but I think everyone was going paddle shifting on the track?

P.S. I am a die hard 6mt guy but just curious.

Like Cup cars, this BMW is running a sequential, not exactly a typical manual. They're usually no lift upshifts.

Very good job of driving. The shifting is similar to a motorbike.
