Rear compartment cover
Anyone have the same rattle problem i do with the coupe? In between the rear seats in my model 2008 328xi coupe it has that little sliding cover that encloses the compartment between the seats.
Every time i go over rumble strips or drive on the turnpike or bumpy roads that thing vibrates. I have tried it closed firm, open, half, etc and still it vibrates. Was thinking of putting some black felt in there somehow so it eliminates the room for the rattle. Anyone encounter this and more importantly how did you eliminate? |

Same problem, I stuffed that whole thing with a bag of cotton. The compartment is useless now, but it doesn't rattle anymore. I got the problem when I upgraded my exhaust.
The cotton pushes up on it, so its stays tightly closed. And I used A LOT of cotton.
