e92 B pillar removal

so ive been upholstering the interior of my 335i and the last pieces to wrap are the B pillars but this plastic bit where the seatbelt feeds thru is very hard to wrap around and this material im trying now is just barely too thick to tuck with s pick tool into the crevice. Anyone stripped these pieces before? Seems those “clips” on the corners are just melted down and stamped or something im not sure. dont want to break it haha.
