That looks like a pretty good rendering. I can't wait to see what the two door version looks like and especially the black edition

I'm not sure I like the rounded direction that car styling is heading back towards. I really like the nice creased lines of cars the last few years after those horrible soap bar years of the late '90s-mid 2000s. Let's hope we don't go too far back in the rounded direction.

Might just be my ignorance but if I just shelled out northbound of $100k for a brand new S-class I would be ticked off by the similarities of this little $40k Benz.

Tell that to audi owners.

Even those with an untrained eye can tell the difference between the new S-Class and the new C-Class when parked next to one another.

The S-Class is a much bigger car.

However, the E550 and the "AMG Package" W205 C-Class look very, very similar. The only exterior differences are: different daytime running lights in the headlamps; different diffusers; different exhaust tips; and different taillights.

That interior is absolutely fantastic. It puts the F30 interior to shame.

You are absolutely right, sizewise the S-class is probably twice as big when parked side by side. My point is every model from the CL-A, C-class, E-class, S-class all have the same style characteristics.
Come to think of it though, BMW, Lexus and Audi are all headed in the same direction - maybe just not as obvious at first glance.
