Probably because of insistence of Ferrari to enforce their brand trademark. Counterfeit products of any sort can be confiscated.
I doubt a buyer originated the complaint... I have to agree, these guys had some talent.

Yeah, at 150,000 miles without a major five-figure repair or two, the owner will surely get suspicious.
