First 2014 Corvette hits 200 mph on Texas Toll Road

Cool video....the fastest I've been on the track is 160....200 is just sooo much faster!!....

Especially when a 4 door sedan from 2006 can go faster then that stock....

The speedo was pretty accurate - did anybody else notice the digital speedo vs. vbox was about exactly the same most of the time?

Well, to be fair, the Hennessey Vette in the video is quite a bit more than $52k but point taken...

Also guys, the issue with the nitrous is kinda moot. I bet the car coulda done 200mph or darn close without it but if you noticed they had a very short track to do it on. I bet that's why they had to use the spray...

Exactly people have to realize that the C7 did this on an unopened toll road with barely over a mile and a half of space to do it.

Sure the Veyron is "impressive" and can hit 268mph, but it took the Veyron SS nearly 5 miles to do it with way more horse power.
