A question for the Pacific Northwest Canadiens

I'm planning to drive from California up to Canada to Alaska with 2 kids for our summer road trip.....

The kids are 5 and 7.......

My question is --- do the kids need a passport to enter Canada through the US/Vancouver checkpoint? And vice versa.......

Or are their birth certificates good enough?

They need a Passport or Birth Certificate.
