I really like the guy's car. Especially the contrasting hood (and surprisingly the stickers too..checkout the ///M stripes on the side) it all looks really cool...the tow hooks complete the 'after-a-race-for-display' picture...

Sheriffs, PDs, have "jurisdiction" or ability to give citations on the highway, however, they're usually unlikely to do so because they'd need to document this action more so (more paperwork etc) than they would if they give citations on surface streets. Often times you see car chases in CA where CHPs take over the lead when the suspect pulls onto CA freeways. This is so because CHPs are obviously more trained to manage crimes committed on highways than on local streets. I always wondered about this until I asked my friend who just became an OC county sheriff. He gave me the bottom line that most law enforcement agencies coordinate their resposbilities with each other, PD, CHP and Sheriff Dept, and they ideally would like to protect as much as possible, but also with less hassle as much as possible.

You don't offend people with your stickers buddy, you just annoy the hell out of people when you drive 110mph down the 405 violating carpool rules. On top of that, glorifying it with pictures and what not. Trust, "purest" don't hate on your stickers, they hate drivers like you. Stay out of California.

woo..did I say I was a saint?
110mph vs. rolling a stop sign. Very comparable. Maybe he should've taken me to jail for reckless "california roll" on a stop sign? Also, I should've asked my co worker to take pictures for me for this wonderful accomplishment and start a thread for it. That post was a reply to someone else's experience with pasadena pd, einstein. A response to my experience vs. boasting about getting out of a reckless driving ticket is very different. I give you a big for researching though.

It wasn't just 'rolling through a stop sign' buddy. It was the fact that you were driving drunk - so drunk that you said you were lucky you didn't get thrown in the drunk tank.
You are correct though - the two actions aren't comparable. Your actions are much worse than his. ________ MT250 ________ homemade vaporizer ________ vapir air one vaporizer ________ Firepower Engine Last edited by stimpy; 02-18-2011 at 04:31 AM.. |

Mmmm....sure, that would be correct if I was drunk. I never said I was drunk, only that my face was red. People often get red faced but not drunk, no?
That was a figure of speech, more of an exaggeration now that you mentioned it, to support that I was lucky to not get a ticket for blowing a stop sign. If my alcohol level was so evident on my face, wouldn't you assume that the cop could've smelled it from me talking to him? In addition, now that it should matter anyway, the intent of that reply was to rebuttal the OP of that thread's claim that Pasadena PDs are all "dicks". Very different from gloating about my mistake.

You are a hypocrite and yes those are comparable, they put stop signs up instead of yield signs for a reason. Since when was a 3 series $70K?
