Aluminium or Standard Trim with M Sport Pack Car?

I just confirmed an order and spec for a 330 Sport today.

As you may have seen, the trim which comes with the sports pack is similiar to that in the 5 series Sport, like silver cube? See attached picture in a 1 series - I'm wondering if I should upgrade to Aluminium at extra cost, or stick with the standard cube trim?

Car will be Le Mans Blue with black leather - heres the full spec.....

E 90 330i Sport

Options:
Le Mans Blue
Black Leather
Silver Cube Trim
Nav Professional
Lumbar Support
Hi Fi Speakers
Bluetooth
Xenon Lights

Aluminum Cube looks cheap IMO, and will look boring after a while. Stick with Brushed Aluminum...I think its worth it.

Here's a pic of alu cube on an E60 with M sport package:

I'm not a big fan of the cube either, although it does stink to have to pay extra when you've already paid extra for the Sport package.

I think this is a picture of a 1-Series in Sport trim. The M-Sport 3 Series has brushed Alu in UK! Neither are like the 5 Series M-Sport trim (a back verion was used on the E46 Sport's). I think the 1's trim is a printed material to give the impression of the etched-alu-cube trim in the 5? The M-Sport 3's have the optional brushed-alu which is avilable in UK today. In Ireland, can you order alu-cube on an E90 M-Sport???

Same spec here as in the UK - BMW UK own BMW Ireland, specs are exactly the same - so the optional Brushed Aluminium is actually standard with the UK / Ireland / Europe Sports Pack? Thats not bad if it it then.....

Go with the brushed aluminum.... we debated an '05 330i and one of the reasons we turned it down was because of the alcanterra/cube trim. Something about it just doesn't look right.

Only downside of the aluminum, is that in the sun, it gets hot... real hot.

We don't have much of a sun problem in Ireland unfortunately......
