New sport suspension for 328xi base model?
I have a 2007 328xi base model. Rear shocks need replacing so I figue why not do them all and do a sport suspension.
Any thoughts on that? Will it affect the X Drive?************ Most reasonable suspension to get (maybe not most expesive but something good).*************** Anything else have to be replaced too? Control arms, etc? when you do suspension? thanks! |

Are you talking about doing just BMW OEM sport suspension parts? Or do you mean aftermarket parts? Also, the best forum for this thread is probably the one dedicated to x-Drive stuff.

My front struts are leaking so rather than the $1900 quote for replacing the two at the dealer I'm doing KW V2s all around. All in all installed and tuned is running just north of 2k. Worth it vs replacing OEM parts for similar prices.

Definitely worth it. Front shocks are expensive, and for the money spent it just makes sense to go with coils. I'd be pissed if I spent over 1k just for front shocks, because you can get a complete set of coils for just a little bit more $ and who's to say the rears won't go shortly after you replace the front shocks? Definitely pays to go with a full coilover kit
